Job Title: Field Maintenance Technician

Reporting to: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Structure: Hourly

• Mission: Maintain customer service and quality in all that you do. Repair, replace, and/or correct maintenance requests received in the field and provide safe, functional and quality housing to residents within our management portfolio.

Major Outcomes:

• Communicate effectively with Tenants & Landlords to better understand the maintenance request prior to taking action.
• Discern if maintenance request are required by the lease. Use good judgement when completing work for tenants if applicable or saying no when needed.
• Schedule maintenance requests with tenants and/or follow up with vendors to ensure the work is completed.
• Communicate and repair, replace, and correct maintenance requests received/assigned in the field in a timely and professional manner.
• Understand when work is billable, non-billable, or tenant billable and clearly communicate all details of the job for accurate billing.
• Cooperate and coordinate with the team on maintenance request (work order) management, correspondence, and execution.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of construction, maintenance, or other similar experience
• Valid driver's license along with a clean driving record
• Smartphone
• Pre-employment credit / criminal screening is required
• Candidate must supply their own basic hand and power tools
• Ability to solve problems effectively
• Respond and/or acknowledge all emails & phone calls within a 24 hours time period
• Demonstrate a strong field expertise, including technical skills, able to effectively work in google suite and property management software.

Compensation:
● $21-$25/hour with Bonus Pay.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
