GMA Accessories, Inc. dba Capelli New York and Ballet Group LLC. is a major U.S. manufacturer and distributor of apparel, footwear, novelty and gift products, jewelry, ladies fashion accessories, handbags and sports/athletic apparel. We were established in 1990 and have approximately 600 employees in the U.S.A. and 2,500 employees worldwide. We have offices in the U.S.A., China, Hong Kong, Germany, UK and Bangladesh. Our U.S. warehouse facilities are located in New Jersey for east coast distribution and California for west coast distribution.
Position Purpose:
We are currently seeking an IT support specialist to work at our South Hackensack, NJ office location
Here's a snapshot of what you will be doing:
• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Research questions using available information resources
• Follow standard help desk procedures and log all interactions
• Hardware and software inventory and asset management
• Prepare activity reports
• Documentation and organization
• Networking (cabling, network equipment, protocols, etc...)
• Connection troubleshooting, IPs, DHCP, DNS etc...)
• Cloning computers, backups
• Troubleshooting (hardware and software)
• Troubleshoot printers and other equipment (VC, hand clock system etc...)
• Training on software and applications (Microsoft suites, etc...)
• Assisting users with daily tasks and showing them new ways\technologies to make their work efficient
• Assist Senior Network Engineers in maintaining LAN and WAN (Firewalls, Switches, Routers etc...)
• Assist Senior systems engineers in maintaining servers\services management
• Perform AD functionalities on servers (AD passwords, security groups, distribution groups etc...)
• Learn and assist in specific network\server related tasks (mapping of new shares, policies, etc...)
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or 2 years of college with emphasis in computer technology and equivalent work experience
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills

• Ability to handle stress and deliver positive service
• Great learning skills
• Attention to detail
• Adaptability, and Schedule flexibility
• Knowledge of Microsoft office 365
• Knowledge of VMware Virtual environment & VEEAM Backup
• knowledge of networking techniques\equipment
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Desktop/Workstation Operating Systems /Win10
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Linux/MAC OS support
• CCNA. MCSA and Network are a plus but not necessary
