Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Upstate New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the cutting-edge electronics and electrical products supplied by the manufacturers we represent. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Customer Engagement:
- Identify and engage potential customers in the Upstate New York region.
- Understand customer needs and present appropriate technical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
2.Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of our manufacturer’s electronics and electrical product portfolios.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor products.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
- Provide technical support to customers addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure customer satisfaction.
3.Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions for purposes of reporting, forecasting and entry into CRM systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic/ Electrical Engineering or Industry experience
- Rf Experience is an asset but not obligatory
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the electronics/electrical industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the Upstate New York region.
