Certification Details ACLS within 6 months BLS within 6 months Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist RT(R)RCES Job Requirements Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program and exam eligible required. International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) status required after two years of hire. RCES / RCIS preferred. Applicants who hold an ARRT certification as a Radiology Tech are required to maintain the ARRT certification. Education : Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred). Experience : Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience (Preferred). Schedule Information 7am start time, potential for five 8 hours shifts or four 10 hours shifts. Weekends : None. Holidays : No Major Holidays. On Call : None. Travel : None. Additional Details Job Summary : Performs daily procedures in the electrophysiology laboratory including a variety of specialized interventional cardiology procedures. Practice of sterile technique preparing for procedure including scrubbing, applying surgical gown, gloving, draping and setup of instrument table. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
