We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Utility Equipment Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Physically build, install, and maintain underground natural gas pipelines and services while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Operate Backhoe, mini ex, track hoe, skid steers, vacuum equipment, trucks, etc.
• Fuse Natural Gas Pipe and install all necessary fittings on mains and services.
• Complete Online Training and in person Training as required to become certified.
• Operate and maintain various equipment and tools required for excavation, installation, and repair work.
• Drive trucks and trailers to transport materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites.
• Use hand excavation tools as necessary.
• Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance on equipment as required.
• Keep trucks, equipment, and tools clean and in good working condition.
• Lift equipment/tools/material as needed.
• Conduct pressure and leak tests, as well as repairs, on natural gas lines to maintain system integrity.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
• Build the company’s name and reputation.
• Maintenance Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, such as greasing and system flushing.
• Perform daily inspections on equipment and inspect affected systems and areas.
• Safety Set up traffic safety controls and ensure the safety of coworkers and the public.

Requirements:

- live in the area and/or be able to get yourself to and from work daily

- be willing to train in our online, Operator Qualification (OQ) Program to meet federal regulations to provide underground utilities

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
