- A Supportive & Safety-First Work EnvironmentYour Role as a Diesel Mechanic : At GMCO, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our fleet to keep operations running smoothly. Every day will bring new challenges and hands-on work, including :
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues across various vehicle components.
- Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and engine tune-ups.
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals, bulletins, and diagnostic reports.
- Keeping detailed records of all work performed to meet compliance and safety regulations.
- Ensuring all repairs and maintenance follow OSHA, DOT, and GMCO safety standards.
- Troubleshooting issues using computer diagnostics and shop tools.What You Bring to the Table :
- Experience : Minimum 3 years as a mechanic (5 years preferred).
- Tools : Must have your own set of basic hand tools.
- Licensing : CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills : Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and diagnostic software.
- Work Ethic : Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable.
