Join GMCO Corporation, a leader in environmentally friendly road maintenance products, as we seek a dedicated Regional Class A CDL Driver with a tanker endorsement. In this role, you'll be responsible for transporting, storing, and applying our sustainable products while ensuring safety and compliance with environmental standards. If you have tanker and end dump experience, that's a bonus!
This position requires regional travel, with potential overnight stays during busy seasons. Our workweek is Monday to Friday, providing most weekends off.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safely operate Class A truck and truck tractor combinations.
- Comply with all applicable driving laws and regulations.
- Utilize on-board ELD (electronic logging device) in accordance with DOT rules.
- Transport products to designated locations efficiently.
- Report any incidents or issues to dispatch promptly.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck.
- Communicate maintenance needs or problems to the dispatcher.
- Assist with shop and yard maintenance as needed.
- Handle and package products when required.
- Help with unloading railcars at various locations.
- Occasionally perform other related duties as assigned.
