The role of the National Account Manager is to spearhead and advise the team of employees selling GME Supply products to current and prospective customers.? The role is accountable for volume, revenue, and margin growth goals by increasing the market share of the organization through the success of the customer service team, regional sales staff and national account relationships.

The National Account Manager is critical to the success of national client partnerships by lending expertise to relationship building, strategic pricing, and communication. This role is consultative and collaborative for the identification and acquisition of new customers, identification of new target industries, and customization of process improvements for efficiency and profit expansions.

Requirements for success:

  • Understand characteristics and trends of all markets business development team encounters
  • Establish a pattern of success using presence in territory markets
  • Collaborate with staff and Marketing team to develop strategic relationship planning
  • Identify clients, establish trust, and build relationships up to strategic business partner status
  • Advocate for needs of sales staff, clients, and teams internally
  • Manage staff knowledge and expectations to enhance client experience

Ideal candidate qualities include:

  • Fluency with technology
  • Excellent personal, as well as written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Autonomous decision-making and problem resolution skills
