Early Head Start (Home Base) Parent Educator
Located at the EPIC Center in Guernsey County - 10015 Brick Church Road
Starting Wage:
- $16.14 per hour with Home Visitor CDA
- $17.64 per hour with Associate's Degree
- $19.36 per hour with Bachelor's Degree
40 Hours per week; Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
48-52 weeks per year
Major Responsibilities:
Working with children ages birth - 3 years of age and pregnant women.
Parent Educators will make a weekly 1.5 hour home visit with 12-13 families.
Duties will include planning and implementing home-based learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum and promote children’s progress and to build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Home Visitors CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a degree in an approved related field.
