What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underground Coal Miner position at GMS Corporation?
GMS is looking for inexperienced or experienced miners for weekend shifts. This is a great opportunity for new miners looking to get started in the industry or an experienced miner looking for a 3-day work schedule or to get back underground.
Shifts would be Owl shift 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, and Day Shift would be 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
All new miner applicants must have their new miner 5000-23. All experienced miners must have an up-to-date annual refresher and experience miner documents.
