I. Summary
The Manager of Financial Accounting & Reporting will plan and direct the activities of the department as it relates to financial accounting, reporting, and analysis and reports to the company CFO.
II. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Financial Reporting (financial statement package, distributions for internal stakeholders and bank, key metrics, etc).
· Balance sheet account reconciliations, related adjustments, and integrity of the overall balance sheet.
· Financial analysis of monthly results (financial statement variances, MD&A writeup, etc).
· Oversight and responsibility for all Billing/Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable personnel and processes.
· Oversight and maintenance/improvement of financial accounting processes and procedures.
· Weekly cash management, including cash forecasting.
· Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
· Risk Management / Insurance support, i.e. annual renewal data gathering/provision.
· Champion Syteline ERP system and capabilities within the financial accounting organization.
· Project work and other duties as assigned.

· Problem Solving/Strategic Thinking- Analyzes specific business processes for the purpose of identifying the root cause(s) of the problem and assists with the development of recommendations for short and long-term resolution.
- Leadership Experience and Style – His/her management style will need to be based on the Servanthood leadership model with characteristics that include transparency, process based, a relentless drive for results, discernment and collaboration at all levels of the organization.
V. Qualifications
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a (4) years college or university of an accredited school, preferably in an Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Analytics discipline.
· Previous experience in a similar or related role; experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Experience / familiarity in company’s serving as tier-1 suppliers to large OEM’s is preferred.
· Understanding of ERP-type systems in a manufacturing setting and related database structure /query tools is preferred.
· Working knowledge of financial statement preparation and supporting processes is preferred.
Communication / Interpersonal Skills
· Ability to interface and communicate with all levels of the organization to develop strong working relationships that support common-goal achievement.
· Self-starter with strong process orientation and problem-solving skills is key.
Computer Skills
· Proficient in retrieval and manipulation of database information from ERP, EDI, and other company systems
· Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Office applications.
· Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing ERP systems, especially with Infor Syteline, is preferred.
