What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Sprinkler Fitter position at GNA-Brook Fire Protection?
The Fire Sprinkler Technician is responsible for performing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, inspections, installation and service on fire sprinkler systems. Qualified candidates must have at least 3-5 years field experience as a Sprinkler Pipe Fitter; must have excellent customer service and communications skills.
General Responsibilities/Requirements:
- 3-5 years field experience as a Sprinkler Pipe Fitter/ Field Service Technician
- Functional knowledge of Wet Sprinkler Systems
- Experience in fire sprinkler repair, TI, and service work is required for this position.
- Knowledge of Pre-Action, dry, fire pumps, backflows, and standpipes
- Existing system repair experience
- P.V.C and Copper experience a plus
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills and communication.
- Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written
- Ability to work independently or as a team and use provided personal protective equipment.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years working experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
