What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Store Manager position at GNC - General Nutrition Centers?
We are seeking a GNC Retail Sales Manager in the Westhiemer/Gessner area to become an integral part of our team who is health minded and energetic. As a Store Manager you are responsible for the day to day operations in conjunction with the Regional Manager and V.P, of Operations. This position has full accountability for the stores financial results and the overall leadership and development of the associates. It is your duty to create a positive work environment by displaying GNC brand loyalty, exceptional customer service and driving sales. The store manager should have the aptitude to provide advanced product knowledge to serve our customers and help them Live Well.
Other responsibilities include reaching sales goals, increasing sales, ordering, maintaining healthy inventory levels, monitor inventory, outside marketing, continuation of product knowledge, payroll, merchandising, receive, check shelf merchandise, keep store clean, organized and uncluttered, cash handling, paperwork, interact with customers according to GNC standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales/management customer service or other related fields
Excellent customer service skills to develop a relationship-selling culture
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Ability to build report with customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with microsoft office and obtaining a laptop
Strong interpersonal and ethical behavior to manage company's assets
