Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong ability to engage with customers, making them feel valued and supported.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are visually appealing.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
• Utilize basic math skills for processing sales transactions and managing inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist in training new staff members on sales techniques and customer service best practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Experience with cash register operations is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
