Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, with experience in supervising staff and managing daily operations, as well as a passion for health and wellness. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping environment, ensuring the store meets its sales goals, and fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, required
- 2- or 4-year college degree, strongly preferred
- 3 years of experience in retail operations, management, and/or health-related field, required
- Certification in nutrition or personal training a plus!
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and manage staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
- Drive retail sales by implementing effective merchandising strategies and promotional activities.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock and conducting regular audits.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
- Strong selling skills with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Strong skills in customer service with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent listener with the ability to think on your feet to meet customer needs.
- Excellent administrative skills to manage paperwork and reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of retail store operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of health, wellness, and/or nutrition is preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn product profiles and retain new information pertaining to health and wellness.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Compensation
- $18-20 per hour; pay based upon experience and qualifications
