What You’ll Do:

This is a Full-Time Salary Position

The eCommerce Engineer supports the design, implementation, and optimization of GNC’s eCommerce solutions to enhance digital commerce experiences. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to improve customer interactions, contribute to business growth, and assist in integrating eCommerce technologies within GNC’s technology ecosystem. As part of the SCRUM development team, the developer will actively participate in refining and enhancing the platform’s capabilities.

• Assist in the design and development of GNC’s Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce Service Cloud (SFSC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and other customer facing technologies solutions to support business needs and improve customer experiences.
• Follow development best practices, ensuring scalability and security compliance.
• Work with product owners, developers, and the QA team to refine requirements, estimate efforts, and implement user stories.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Help integrate Salesforce with third-party platforms for seamless functionality.
• Support performance optimization efforts and contribute to continuous platform improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, data flow diagrams, and integration blueprints.
• Stay informed about platform updates, industry trends, and best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and finding solutions.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and road mapping to align with long-term business goals.

Environmental Factors & Working Schedule:

• This is a fully remote position with occasional travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of basic programming concepts, web technologies and integrations (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, ISML, OCAPI).
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and technologies is a plus, particularly Salesforce.
• A passion for digital with a drive to stay up to date on new and developing technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Work with a sense of urgency and can consistently meet deadlines
