As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test frameworks, ensuring thorough testing coverage, and identifying areas for improvement in our products.
< class="" data-start="1088" data-end="1118">Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing across web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.
Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and issues.
Work with development teams to diagnose, reproduce, and troubleshoot issues found during automated testing.
Write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and documentation.
Conduct continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing to ensure seamless software delivery.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and best practices.
Continuously improve automation processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure quality standards are adhered to throughout the software development lifecycle.
Report defects, issues, and progress to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3 years of experience in QA automation and software testing.
Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying issues and bugs.
Ability to write clear and comprehensive test documentation and reports.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Experience with mobile testing (iOS/Android) and automation.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and testing in cloud environments.
Experience with database testing and SQL for data validation.
Agile/Scrum development experience.
Familiarity with security testing practices.
