Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Data Analyst to support an agency by reviewing multiple data source systems and evaluating their reliability. In this role, you will assess the current data systems, identify threats to data validity, and work with key stakeholders (including Developmental Services, Clinical and Quality Management, and Administration) to develop actions that mitigate these issues. Your goal will be to improve data trustworthiness, ensuring the department can confidently rely on the data produced. This includes reviewing training materials, conducting interviews, performing system analysis, and providing actionable recommendations to improve data systems.

Responsibilities:
Review and assess the validity and reliability of data source systems.
Identify and prioritize threats to data quality, synthesizing findings across various data sources.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions to improve data systems.
Develop and present actionable recommendations for data improvements.
Track and report on the progress of implemented solutions.
Conduct user interviews, shadow data source users, and analyze system tables.
Ensure that the agency can confidently attest to the reliability and accuracy of its data.
Requirements
Experience with MS Excel, Power Query, and data warehouse systems.
Strong analytical skills to assess data systems and identify issues.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex issues in a clear, understandable way.
Proven ability to design and implement solutions to improve data quality.
Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
