Position Location & Compensation
This is a hybrid role requiring three days on site in CareScout Services’ Headquarters office (with flexibility to meet business needs), located in New York City, with periodic travel.
The annual base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $250,000 up to the maximum of $325,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in annual incentive and long-term incentive equity plans. The annual incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 25% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
Your Role
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer for Genworth with a strong reporting relationship to the CareScout Services Chief Executive Officer, the CareScout People Leader will serve as the primary HR partner for the CareScout Services business to develop and drive all components of its People strategy. You will play a critical role in driving the growth and commercial success of our business by ensuring we have the right talent, structure and culture to accelerate our expansion and helping to develop and execute core strategies focused on employment brand, talent acquisition, talent management and development, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, day-to-day people operations, and change management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic advisor to leadership, leveraging HR expertise to enable business performance, workforce planning, and organization effectiveness. This role with be part of a team that creates and drives an inclusive and cultural spirit starting from the onboarding process through the employment life cycle.
What you will be doing
Developing and driving a deep understanding and passion for CareScout’s mission, business objectives and key priorities
As a member of the CareScout Services leadership team, partnering with key leaders to identify organizational needs required to drive business results
Collaborating across multiple business levels and Human Resources support functions – of both CareScout Services and Genworth – to attract, retain, develop and motivate CareScout team members to achieve their fullest potential
Effectively designing, leading, and executing programs and initiatives and ensuring they achieve intended outcomes including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, executive coaching, and succession planning
Continually pursuing team, function and organization improvements by developing innovative people strategies and driving execution and change management
Developing practical solutions to drive high performance, retention, and top employee experience
Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to business leaders; coaching and guiding leaders on effectively managing their teams and leading the organization
Fostering an inclusive, customer-centric culture, ensuring high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction
What you bring
10 years of experience as a Human Resources business partner – preferably in Financial Services, Insurance or Healthcare
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business or equivalent experience
Experience leading a Human Resource function in a regional or divisional capacity
Experience in organizational transformation and change management and scaling a business
Demonstrated experience in building trusted relationships not only with senior leaders, but associates at all levels
Effective acumen in coaching and advising leaders and associates on organizational issues and challenges and willingness to play a hands-on role in problem solving
Knowledge and experience in related core functions including strategic and workforce planning, organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management and development, engagement and retention, compensation and employee relations
Creativity as a solutions-oriented change agent who has a proven track record of partnering with business leaders to drive results
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth environment where you can simultaneously build and execute scalable People initiatives and programs
Experience leading or managing a team, and cultivating future leaders
Exemplary written and oral communication and influencing skills
Experience leveraging data insights and analytics to drive culture and talent initiatives
