Go Ape is seeking an emerging leader to help direct and manage the day to day operations of our adventure course and activities. This role is responsible for supporting the manager in the overall operations of the course and does so by maintaining customer service, staff support, and uphold course safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding customer service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and checking in guests, maintaining outstanding standards, solid knowledge of Go Ape course, and all other components of guest service.
- Ensure all staff understand and adhere to all risk assessment and method statement processes.
- Help monitor sessions and staff site accordingly to meet guest demands and maintain health and safety standards.
- Support recruitment, training, development, and communication with all site staff.
- Support manager in overseeing functionality of course by performing tree inspections, safety inspections, and maintain appropriate course documentation.
- Support financial management tasks and sales of merchandise.
- Maintain site cleanliness and organization, including cabin and course.
- Support marketing and sales initiatives by promoting brand awareness, attend off-site events, and local market research.
- Assist with inventory management of operating equipment and merchandise.
- Partner with manager to develop on-call schedule as to support necessary communications from head office when site is not operating.
- Maintain a positive relationship with park partners.
- Be a brand ambassador for Go Ape and perform all job duties in accordance with the mission and values of the organization.

Requirements:
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Prior experience in a supervisory support or leadership role.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Prior experience in high ropes or zip line operations is a plus.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- At least 18 years or older.
- Must be able to meet guest participation requirements.
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Ability to successfully complete rescue training.
Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00/hr
Status: Hourly
Type: Variable Hour with opportunity for Full-Time
Schedule: Varies with operating season, Weekend availability required
