Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
Position: Urgent Care NP or PA-C
Location: Delaware
Schedules: Various Schedules Available
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) who have urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our team!
- In this role, you will provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
- It is essential to have excellent assessment skills to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Perform triage duties to prioritize patient care in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, coding for services rendered, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families about health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent full time experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
- Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required
- State licensure in DE
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures and splints, etc.) and seeing all ages.
- Able to order and read all diagnostic x-rays, EKGs and labs independently
- Comfort and experience in treating patients with sports injuries and concussions.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with electronic medical records
Licenses and Certifications:
- Medical License (Required)
- DEA License (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- PALS Certification (Required)
- National Registry DOT/CDL Medical Examiner Certification (Preferred)
