What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boat Tour Guide position at Go Cats on the Water?
You will be a boating adventure tour guide entertaining up to 8 people, driving their own 2 man boat on a 2.5 hour boating adventure from downtown Naples through Naples Bay and mangroves looking for sea life and interesting sites. See our website gocatsonthewater.com to get more information. Duties include preparing boats for adventure by cleaning, fueling, testing, putting water and ice in coolers. Briefing our guests on how to pilot our 2 man boats and how to follow you as the guide. Stopping frequently to show guests interesting sites and sea life like dolphin and manatee. Lastly helping them dock their boat and gather all gear like life jackets, then flushing engines with fresh water and refueling. You will be doing up to 2 trips per day.
A Florida 6 pack certification/license is preferred, or willing to obtain this license within 60 days of hiring. Looking for someone who has boating experience, entertaining personality, be a leader, in good physical shape and because these are small boats, they have a weight limit of 250 lbs per person.
