Go Civil Engineering is seeking a full-time land surveyor (PLS, LSIT, or equivalent experience) to work on civil engineering, land development, residential home projects. Responsibilities include both field and office work related to subdivision and residential construction projects. Ability to draft/utilize Civil 3D for mapping, topography, subdivision plats, construction staking calculation etc., assist civil engineers with survey related documents, reviewing project plans, specifications and quantities, coordination with clients and municipalities related to plan review, communication and meetings with clients, working as a team to meet deadlines, and be willing to be trained and grow skill set.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2024 (specifically surfaces, parcels, alignments, points, sheet sets, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of civil engineering design, construction methods and procedures
• Ability to run GPS and robotic total stations as one-man crew
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized, attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Willingness to learn company design methods/procedures and take direction
• Able to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines with the design team

Preferred Skills

·                    5 years’ experience in the land surveying field

·                    LSIT or PLS license preferred
