Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers with their purchases, manage inventory, and contribute to achieving sales goals through effective communication and product knowledge.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with restocking as needed.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
- Adhere to company policies regarding phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone.
- Perform basic retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Basic understanding of retail math concepts for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail setting are essential.
- Must be 21 years old .
- Experienced in upselling.
