Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Manager
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the shipping, receiving, and inventory management of turf mats and roll goods. This role ensures smooth daily operations, maintains organization and cleanliness, enforces safety procedures, and provides leadership to the Mat Crew. The Warehouse Coordinator will also assist with mat production, equipment maintenance, and quality control, while serving as a backup for key warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Management:
- Process all ATM (All Turf Mats) and USA Turf Pro Mat orders daily, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle and resolve ATM mat returns and claims promptly.
- Receive roll goods, yarn, and supplies, verifying shipments and placing products in proper bin locations.
- Pull and stage roll orders, scanning all rolls to orders before loading onto trucks.
- Verify roll numbers against Bills of Lading (BOL) to ensure correct labeling.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices for roll goods unless otherwise approved.
- Assist with inventory audits as needed.
Team Leadership & Training:
- Manage and train the Mat Crew, ensuring all team members adhere to daily tasks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Train employees on scanner use, forklift operation, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, including keeping fire extinguishers accessible and enforcing equipment operation rules.
- Train a backup team member to cover Warehouse Coordinator duties during absences.
- Assist in cross-training team members to backfill roles as needed.
Production & Quality Control:
- Assist with mat production, including operating the cut table, performing re-measures, and inspecting rolls.
- Serve as a backup to the Floor Lead, verifying measurements for the first mat cut and conducting QC sign-offs for jobs at the cut table.
- Assist with proper packaging of cut table products to meet shipping standards.
Safety & Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure safe truck/container entry before loading/unloading:
o Wheels must be chocked.
o Truck ignition must be off.
o Dock plate must be secure and properly engaged.
- Enforce safety procedures related to forklift operation, propane filling, box cutter use, and warehouse protocols.
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment, including clearing vehicle wheels of yarn buildup.
- Maintain logs for all forklifts (Hysters) and ensure routine maintenance is completed.
General Duties:
- Participate in warehouse cleanup and housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory management.
- Strong leadership and training abilities.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with scanners, shipping software, and inventory systems preferred.
