Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. This will involve:
- Preparing patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety
- Operating CT scanners to obtain clear and detailed images
- Maintaining accurate records of patient information and scan results
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current licensure and certification as a CT Technologist
- At least 2 years of experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
