As a Financial Analyst at Go Local Interactive, you provide valuable insights to the revenue and profitability of the company’s product and service offerings. You provide data-driven reporting and metrics that enhance sound business decision making. You will provide training and development to the Finance team as needed to ensure uniformity of process for the agency in regards to systems, analysis, and other items as needed. You will work directly with the CEO and CFO regularly to provide recommendations that will improve Go Local’s financial performance.
Job Expectations
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze financial data, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities and risks.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor budget adherence throughout the year.
- Prepare and update rolling forecasts, providing insights into financial trends and variances.
Cost Management:
- Analyze costs associated with various marketing projects and campaigns.
- Work with project managers to ensure projects are within budget and suggest cost-saving measures where applicable.
Revenue Analysis:
- Monitor agency revenue streams, analyze client profitability, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Assist in pricing strategies and client contract negotiations by providing financial insights.
Systems Management:
- Understand basic NetSuite and SalesForce functionalities for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accuracy and consistency of data within the NetSuite platform.
- Customize NetSuite dashboards and reports to meet the specific needs of the agency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to financial data within GLI financial systems.
- Investigate ways to improve communication between GLI’s financial systems.
Data Management & Optimization:
- Maintain financial databases and ensure accuracy of financial data across systems.
- Continuously improve financial reporting processes by leveraging new tools and technologies.
Strategic Support:
- Provide financial insights and support to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities, investments, and mergers/acquisitions.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in NetSuite with hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and customization.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other financial software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of the marketing industry and its financial drivers is a plus.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting, preferably within a marketing or advertising agency.

- Full-time; 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday
