The Product Owner plays a critical role at Go Local Interactive. Job Expectations
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to all stakeholders.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure work focuses on those items with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
- Create requirements and Pitch documentation in alignment with the Product roadmap and assist the development team in work breakdown to meet requirements.
- Support other internal teams in drafting Pitches and requirements sponsored by those teams.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market and customer needs, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product releases and market adoption.
- Act as a subject matter expert in sales meetings to clarify product capabilities and limitations, ensuring accurate information is communicated to prospects.
- Establish regular feedback sessions with the Sales team to review closed deals, identify gaps in product knowledge, and provide corrective coaching as needed.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive sales playbook outlining approved messaging, use cases, and objection-handling techniques to guide the Sales team in accurately representing the product.
- Collaborate with Sales to review complex or high-value opportunities to confirm that proposed solutions align with current product capabilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned product’s team, providing clarity on backlog items and ensuring the team understands the vision for the product.
- Measure and report on product performance, making data-driven decisions to drive product success and iteration.
- Facilitate project planning, review of project updates and deliverables, and demos to internal and external stakeholders. .
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform product strategy and development.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in product development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box.
- Experience with product management tools and software (e.g., ClickUp, JIRA, Confluence).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Technology, Software Development or another business related field
- 3 years relevant experience in your product industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
- Minimal
- General office hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday, but more details will be discussed in the interview.
