Overseeing the area of advancement services, the Advancement Services Coordinator ensures an efficient and productive operation. Primary responsibilities of the position are charitable gift processing & reporting, data integrity, and donor relations.
About 60% of the job involves record keeping for charitable gifts, processing those gifts, and preparing regular reports on charitable giving. 30% of the role is managing the Jenzabar Advancement constituent relationship management (CRM) database. This role creates, maintains, and follows the processes and procedures developed for advancement services. The final 10% is donor relations activities, including recognition events and other efforts to show appreciation to supporters of McPherson College.
Ideal characteristics that the new hire will possess are consistency, accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position which is eligible for all college benefits, including an industry-leading 10% employer match to the employee’s retirement plan. Tuition reimbursement and annual compensation increases are also available for this position.
Experience and proficiency working with the Jenzabar Advancement CRM or comparable CRM system is highly desired. So is prior experience with high volume transaction processing. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills necessary. Expert user in Microsoft Office and Teams, Adobe, and Smartsheet. A bachelor’s degree is required.
