TEMPORARY CLERK - MCPHERSON COUNTY PLANNING/ZONING/ENVIRONMENT
The McPherson County Department of Planning, Zoning & Environment is now accepting applications for a Temporary Clerk to work on a specific project. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or have obtained a high school diploma/GED, and have a valid Kansas driver’s license. Office experience and/or some college would be helpful. Responsibilities include scanning paper forms and surveys into a digital format and indexing them. The position is for the duration of project completion, or capped at no more than 500 hours. Offers a flexible schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Working knowledge of deeds, legal descriptions, Public Land Survey System, and/or Zoning a plus, but not required. $14.79 per hour with no benefits.
