Warehouse Worker

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment, including operating forklifts, handling metal roof panels, performing special bending tasks, and loading and unloading materials. This position requires a high level of safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation:
• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
• Ensure the proper handling of all materials to prevent damage.
• Metal Roof Panel Handling:
• Unload, store, and organize metal roof panels with care, ensuring that they are in optimal condition.
• Maintain inventory of metal roof panels and other building materials.
• Special Bending Operations:
• Perform special bending tasks as required by the specific materials or orders.
• Utilize bending equipment to create custom bends or shapes based on specifications.
• Loading and Unloading Materials:
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks or other vehicles.
• Ensure that materials are properly stacked and stored for safe handling and transport.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and materials to ensure safe working conditions.
• General Warehouse Support:
• Assist with inventory management and organization of warehouse space.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to operate and maintain metal bending machines and other related equipment.
• Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
