Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities and events.
- Lead sports and recreational activities while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times.
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate programs that cater to diverse interests.
- Foster positive relationships with campers by providing support and encouragement.
- Manage camper behavior effectively using established behavior management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a cohesive team environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to early childhood education and special education.
Experience
