We are seeking a proactive and experienced Claims Supervisor with a proven track record in managing insurance claims processes and exceptional analytical skills. As a driving force behind our auto claims, you will play a critical role in ensuring our teams and guests receive top-tier service and support. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of navigating complex claims issues and driving continuous improvement in our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Supervisor: Oversee the entire claims process for the Western US, from initial report to final resolution, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all claims.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all claims activities.
- Customer/Guest Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to claimants, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive experience throughout the claims process.
- Claims Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of claims data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including fleet, operations, risk management, and legal, to ensure a cohesive approach to claims management.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve escalated claims issues, employing strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for the claims department, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Technology Integration: Leverage innovative technologies and tools to streamline claims processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor performance metrics for the claims team, driving continuous improvement and accountability.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, such as independent adjusters and legal firms, ensuring they meet our service standards and deliver value.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in claims management (automotive focus), with a proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Skills:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
