Go Ride, LLC is seeking a dedicated and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our team in the Houma, LA area. The successful candidate will work on a 7-day on, 7-day off rotation, providing safe and timely transportation for patients to and from medical appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous and professional transportation services to patients
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle
- Follow scheduled routes and adhere to time schedules
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical staff, and passengers
- Be available on-call 24/7 during your scheduled 7-day shift
Requirements:
- Valid Louisiana Class D Chauffeurs license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor
- Familiarity with the Houma, LA area and surrounding communities
- CPR and First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work on-call and adapt to changing schedules
