POSITION SUMMARY:
GO Riteway is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Vice President to lead our Commercial Services operations (Motor Coach Charter Operations) across Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. This executive-level role is responsible for full P&L oversight, strategic business development, and operational excellence throughout the region.
The Regional Vice President will provide visionary leadership to regional teams, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a proven leader with a strong background in sales and operations management, capable of aligning regional execution with corporate strategy while driving profitable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Lead regional commercial operations across Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan to ensure cohesive execution of company standards and processes.
- Align regional performance with corporate goals, driving profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies that ensure regulatory compliance, particularly with DOT and safety requirements.
Sales & Growth Development
- Lead sales growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities and expanding services with existing clients.
- Oversee regional pricing strategies and market expansion efforts, including potential new facility developments.
- Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with key regional customers and stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
- Drive accountability among leadership teams for operational metrics such as schedule efficiency, fleet utilization, and contract performance.
- Collaborate with regional maintenance leaders to ensure fleet reliability and minimize downtime.
- Optimize staffing, scheduling, and customer service management for maximum efficiency.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Champion a high-performance culture rooted in continuous improvement, safety, and employee development.
- Coach and develop regional managers to foster engagement, retention, and professional growth.
- Ensure consistent communication, collaboration, and alignment across operational teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams with an emphasis on strategic execution and employee engagement.
- Sales Acumen: Strong track record in sales management, account growth, and market expansion.
- Customer Focus: A commitment to delivering superior service and building lasting client relationships.
- Operational Expertise: Understanding of commercial transportation operations, compliance, and optimization strategies would be a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Change Management: Experienced in driving organizational change and fostering adaptability.
- Conflict Resolution: Skilled in resolving disputes and fostering positive team dynamics.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in sales and operations, preferably in the transportation or service-based industries.
