About the Job
A well-respected facility is seeking an Addiction Medicine physician to join their team, located 40 minutes outside of Detroit, MI.
- This is a locums-to-perm opportunity with an ASAP start date and ongoing need until a permanent hire is made.
- The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Preventative or Addiction Medicine.
- A valid Michigan license (Active) or Illinois Medical License Compact (IMLC), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
- The physician should be open to taking on a locum-to-perm position.
Work Details
- The schedule will consist of 5 shifts per week, including weekends, totaling 40 hours per week from 7am - 3pm.
- The primary age range for patients will be 18 years old.
- The physician will work in an inpatient and residential treatment setting, focusing on substance abuse disorders, anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders.
- Familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy is required.
- The successful candidate must be a trauma-informed provider.
