A reputable healthcare organization based in Northwestern Indiana, approximately an hour outside of Chicago, seeks a skilled OB/GYN Physician.
Job Overview
- This position is available at a well-established outpatient clinic.
- We are looking for a Board Certified OBGYN with expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple locations throughout NW Indiana.
- The standard schedule consists of Monday through Friday with a 1:3 shared call arrangement. This can be discussed further during the interview process.
- The typical week includes three days spent in the clinic, one day performing surgeries, and one day off or other flexible arrangements such as 3/12's.
- The Physician will manage a caseload of approximately 150-250 patients per month.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Performing general clinic duties;
- Providing backup support for Midwives in emergency c-section situations;
- Overseeing and collaborating with Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) on a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio;
- Assisting with various surgeries;
- Certified Nurse-Midwives collaborate closely under the supervision of the OB/GYN Physician.
- The compensation package includes a starting salary of $300K, which may increase based on experience, along with additional pay for call duties.
