Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate pricing and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Must be able to read plans, meet with clients and be personable
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids while negotiating terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance to ensure adherence to cost control measures.
- Maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate effective communication throughout the estimating process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project estimation within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
