Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize POS systems for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies.
- Perform cash handling duties, including balancing cash registers at the end of shifts.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
- Employ retail math skills to manage stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to store standards.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is required.
- Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and performing retail math calculations.
