Data Solutions Architect (Snowflake/AWS)

Location: 100% onsite in Erie, PA
Duration: 1-3 years
Rate: $70-95/hr
Note: Must be willing to work and relocate to Erie, PA
Start Date: 2 weeks after offer acceptance

Nice to have: Advanced/Latest Data Concepts such as Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, data related enterprise issues data governance, data security etc .

Key Responsibilities:

• Help customers leverage data as a strategic asset by implementing modern data solutions on AWS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop cloud-native data platform architectures.
• Define technology roadmaps and best practices, including architecture design and data modeling.
• Lead strategy sessions on Data & Analytics maturity, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide insights on modern data technologies, BI, and predictive analytics.
• Design, prototype, and deliver cloud-based data solutions for business use cases (e.g., P&C Insurance).
• Guide customers in cloud adoption, assessing AWS readiness and delivering structured learning plans.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15 years of experience, with 4 years in cloud-native data solutions (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
• Expertise in data platform architectures, data engineering, and management.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, AWS databases, and cloud-native warehouse concepts.
• Experience working with Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics teams in complex IT environments.
• Hands-on expertise with ETL tools, Kafka, and ELT techniques.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, data appliances, and performance optimization.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience implementing analytics models using AWS SageMaker.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and Data Products design and implementation.
