GPBG is looking for a dynamic, passionate, energetic individual to perform one-on-one therapy with children ranging in ages from 18 months to 21 years that have been diagnosed with autism.
Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors primarily in a center setting. Registered Behavior Technicians will utilize interventions developed out of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Schedule
Part-time employees are assigned either a morning or afternoon time slot. Any part-time candidate must be able to work Monday – Friday and one of the following schedules within their assigned time slot:
Morning Time Slot:
Mon-Fri 8:30am – 12:30pm
Mon-Fri 8:30am – 1:30pm
Mon-Fri 9:30am – 2:30pm
Afternoon Time Slot:
Mon-Fri 12:30pm - 5:15pm
Mon-Fri 1:30pm – 5:15pm
Key responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 direct client care utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and naturalistic environment training
Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as designed by case manager and trained by case manager or assistant case manager
Follow and record data for prescribed toilet training, function living, adaptive, and desensitization protocols
Collect, record, and summarize data for observable client behavior
Under the supervision of the case manager and/or ACM update and maintain data collection systems and disseminate information to the team
Write and submit a clinic note by the end of every session
Write and provide a parent note for each session
Accept, apply, and provide positive and constructive feedback regarding clinical and professional skills on a regular basis
Assist with assessments, session support and material development
Attend on-going staff education and training on client behavioral and skill acquisition protocols through case management, staff development, and morning meetings
Complete assigned readings and objectives
Complete daily RBT duties as assigned

Must complete Registered Behavior Technician credential requirements within time frame set forth by BACB (refer to Office Administrator for more information)
BA or BS in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred. Will consider individuals who have nearly completed their degrees
Must be able to run, jump, crawl, bend, kneel and stand or sit for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 50lbs with assistance
