Goat Patch Brewing Company is expanding, and were looking for a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our Back of House team at our brand-new location! Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Creation and preparation of all food menu items safely while following correct Health Code procedures
Accurately create and teach all recipes and prep functions, monitoring their execution to be correct at all times
Create and teach proper use of a communication board to track and inventory food and all prepped items
Use 7shifts to create comprehensive schedules for all BOH Staff members
Perform accurate inventory of food and dry goods, order appropriately from vendors
Maintain a clean and functional workspace and prep space
Only use equipment with care and precautions, making sure to correctly clean and sanitize after use
Communicate effectively with staff and management
Create, implement, follow and complete all checklists and duties in place
Hold oneself and employees to a high, consistent standard with health and safety at the forefront of all tasks
Advocate for GPB including all sales, word of mouth advertisement and information relayed to customers
Adhere to company policies and procedures as stated in Handbook
Self-motivate during shift and perform activities with respect and pride
Responsible for safety and well-being of patrons, kitchen staff, and self
Responsible for the knowledge and execution of menu items as performed by kitchen employees
Responsible for appropriate disciplinary and praise actions for kitchen employees
Responsible for accurate tracking and accounting food sales
Responsible for respectful and admirable representation of Goat Patch Brewing Company
Able to move, lift, and safely handle kitchen equipment and stored goods. Heavy lifting may be required

Qualifications :

Must be at least 21 years of age, as required by our license

Excellent verbal and written communication skills,including ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers

Kitchen / Commercial cooking experience required

Must be CFPM (Certified Food Protection Manager) within 7 days of hire date

Must be able to work under pressure and handle high volumes, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service, and workmanship, while leading staff to follow the set example

Ability to work independently and to carry out actions to completion, and standard accepted practices

Appropriate skills developed to effectively work in a team environment with respectful and equal treatment

Capable of multitasking with awareness of customer needs, requests, allergens and general attentiveness

Basic math and literacy skills to include comprehension and retention

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
