Job Title: Part-time Sales Associate

Gobble Stop is seeking a responsible and energetic individual to join our team as a part-time sales associate at a locally-owned convenience store. This role involves creating a positive customer experience, operating electronic point of sale systems, handling lottery transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a positive customer experience through exceptional service and product knowledge
• Operate the electronic point of sale system and collect various payment methods
• Handle lottery transactions and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the store

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years old
• Possess basic math skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Pass a background check
• Work independently without supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, push, pull, and carry boxes and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Climb, balance, reach, grab, stoop, crawl, bend, and crouch for extended periods
• Use close, distant, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and visual focus
• Smell and identify odors
• Clearly hear and interpret voice commands and telephone communications

Salary: $12-$15 per hour (based on location and experience)

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
