What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education/Disabilities Manager position at GOCAA Head Start?
Must have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood plus 480 hours of classroom experience. Overall responsibility for Education and Early Childhood Development Services, including those for children with disabilities as well as to support the development of school readiness skills. Monitor curriculum implementation, classroom environments and staff-child interactions as well as analyze data for trends and patterns to create a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsible for the implementation of the Head Start Program Performance Standards; Head Start Act; Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework, Michigan's Early Childhood Standards of Quality; Office of Head Start Monitoring Protocol; Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA); and Program Policies and Procedures. Administration and maintenance of relevant electronic databases.
40 hours per week; 42 weeks per year. Travel to Ontonagon County required.
