Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals and senior care facilities. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with diagnostic evaluations, and supporting case management efforts within our Level I Trauma Center. Your expertise in aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures will be essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations, including sonography and CT scans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Participate in case management activities to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support inpatient care by assisting with daily living activities for patients.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a hospital setting or Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with senior care practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with nursing duties, including lifting and moving patients.
