Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Knows the GAB mission statement and can execute
• Welcomes guests using the 10–4 rule; greets guests with a smile and positive attitude

• Understands the value of balancing individual duties, team duties and customer service
• Delivers impeccable guest satisfaction by making it your number one priority
• Remains calm under pressure and works quickly without sacrificing quality

• Is 100% knowledgeable of all menu items including LTOs, garnishes and GF/Vegetarian/Vegan options and/or
knows where to find the tools used for assisting guest inquiries
• Demonstrates suggestive selling
• Stays productive during downtimes
• Advises leadership of any out of stock items and relays this info as needed to guests in a polite and professional
manner
• Brews coffee and iced tea; prepares teas and assists bar with juices and cold brews where applicable
• Expedites order taking to ensure quick and friendly service
• Notifies leadership of any customer complaints or dissatisfaction for immediate remedy
• Serves as liaison between BOH & FOH, ensuring food/drinks are served promptly and to standard
• Is conscientious about clearing/cleaning tables to accommodate guests
• Responsible for running drinks and food when not actively taking orders for customers
• Sets up and cleans work area as well as surrounding areas and completes all necessary checklists
• Performs secondary duties which may include but are not limited to:
» stocking dine in and take out items
» rolling silverware
» stock/restocking soup & oatmeal garnishes where applicable
» filling backstock of items such as dressings, fruit cups, chips, hot tea bags, grab ‘n go cooler items
» stocking and cleaning retail items
» assists with completing catering tasks
Required Skills and Education:
