Legal Executive Assistant
We are seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to assist attorneys with a full range of corporate matters, real estate, and estate planning matters. Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, fantastic with time management, and have excellent writing and research skills. As part of the Corporate Team, you will assist with the development and management of legal documents, legal research, corporate transactional work, as well as supporting our client relationships. Candidates with a paralegal certificate or a willingness to obtain one will have the opportunity to support client matters in an increased capacity through billable work, such as assisting with corporate transactional work, including, but not limited to closings of acquisitions, financing and reorganization transactions, as well as drafting related documents.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting with corporate transactional work, including, but not limited to closings of acquisition, financing and reorganization transactions.
- Drafting, editing, and finalizing corporate resolution documents, organizational documents, closing certificates, correspondence, and similar documents.
- Building relationships and communicating professionally with clients, both internal and external, via email and phone.
- Performing legal research, filing and maintenance of paper and electronic documents and records.
- Proofreading all materials for typographical errors, office style conformity, accuracy and inclusion of required information and enclosures.
- Managing attorney expenses and check requests, as well as monitoring and reporting their CLE credits.
- Preparing, reviewing, and finalizing client invoices, as well as reconciling monthly credit card statement.
- Scheduling and managing internal and external meetings and calendars, including working with the receptionist team to reserve meeting rooms and ensure meeting needs, such as refreshments and meals, are available as needed.
- Cross-training and assisting with real estate, bankruptcy/restructuring and other firm practice groups as needed.

We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Paralegal certificate, or the willingness to work towards is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience required.
- Experience or working knowledge with corporate transactions, state and government agencies, entity management, and corporate maintenance preferred.
- Ability to navigate work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple deadlines with strong organizational skills, and work effectively under pressure on time-sensitive projects.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, research, writing and editing skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and web-based research.
