What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Godfrey's Flagship Restaurant?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of ingredients and supplies
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system
- Upsell additional products and services to increase revenue
Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages and their serving methods
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register or POS system
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
