JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience.
DUTIES:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are seated comfortably
- Provide menus and assist with any questions or special requests
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism and accuracy
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
SKILLS:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle inquiries and reservations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Toast POS, is a plus
- Basic knowledge of food service procedures and practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
