Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. (MUST HAVE YOUR OWN DUTY GEAR AND WEAPON ALREADY WITH A LEVEL 3 Holster). VEST RECOMMEND THIS SITE IS AN ACTIVE SITE AND MIST HAVE YOUR HEAD ON YOUR SHOULDER)
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities and maintain situational awareness.
- Conduct thorough inspections of facilities and property to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure effective incident resolution.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and conflict management techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is beneficial.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
